“Box of Secrets” – A Review of Valley Cult’s Latest Single

Valley Cult, formerly known as Cosmics, is a catchy new rock band from San Diego consisting members Logan Swirsky, Nate Gentry, Marc Montez, Brett Nedelman and Justin Murphy. This past Sunday, Valley Cult released their first track entitled, Box of Secrets.

The song starts out with funky, psychedelic instrumentals specifically focusing on the powerful strumming of the electric guitar, which make you just want to get up and dance. The unique voice of Logan Swirsky comes in after about twenty seconds, setting the mood for the rest of the track which continue with consistent energetic guitar strums. After the first two verses, it slows down in more of a punk aspect, then pumps back up into a genius instrumental from 1:45 to 2:00, ending the song with the powerful lyrics, “leave this place and all it walls/ hide behind your box of secrets. ”

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for this latest addition to the San Diego music scene, make sure to stay up to date on all of their future events and releases.
