TOO MUCH TOUR CONCERT VLOG

Friday night was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. If you weren’t there for the kickoff of Too Much Tour, with FIDLAR, The Frights, and SWMRS, allow me to break it down for you.

San Diego natives, The Frights, opened the show with songs from their latest album, “You’re Going To Hate This.” Contrary to the album’s title, we did not hate a single aspect of their set. When just the opener for the show is a band that good, you know it’s going to be insane; and that’s exactly what it was.

I actually feel bad for the bouncers and security working the barricade, because there was no shortage of crowd surfers and moshers at The Observatory last night. Besides that, every single person in the crowd seemed to be enjoying every single second, especially the banana man (Yes, there was a kid wearing an actual banana costume for the entirety of the show, he is my inspiration in life).

SWMRS was next to take the stage, sending the sea of people into a frenzy when they not only played their hits like Miley, Drive North, and Harry Dean, but also some new music. The newest group signed to Fueled By Ramen has no shortage of talent or energy.

FIDLAR closed the night with a bang, I honestly thought someone was going to die in the pit (although one of my friends did have to go to the hospital after the show and got a concussion from a crowd surfer). It was so insane watching how the crowd reacted, and to see that literally hundreds of people are just as passionate as you about a group of musicians.

I had the privilege to take photos for both SWMRS and FIDLAR so expect those coming out soon (film), but until then, I put together a little vlog of the whole night, check that out below!
